Well here we are with just a month to go until Christmas !
So the card making carries on at a pace !
33 done, 6 more made last Saturday and about 15 to 20 left to make !
Saturday morning was an 8am haircut followed by the normal round of errands to run, followed by the afternoon beavering away at the work-desk on these cards !
Sunday was swimming followed by a Tapas lunch at our favourite Brazilian restaurant on Cardiff Bay before we headed to the Matinee at the Millennium Centre to see The Lion King.
We were very impressed at the production and I especially loved how the clever use of lighting brought the whole story to life.
So on my desk today you can see a tumble of Christmas activity !
Half made cards, stamps, inks & Stickles plus ribbons & metallic Pro-markers, plus 3 fabric Christmas Trees I bought at a stall in the theatre on Sunday.
As you can see I will be heading back here next weekend to finish off !!
Have a great crafty week
Ali xx
Just finished writing and scheduling my post, and you're already published, lol!! Love your Christmas cards. I did some more at the weekend, but can't share them as they're part of a challenge for next month! I must find my Majestix stamps, I meant to use some for this year's cards... Helen; obviously no number, it's still Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteAs you know, your parcel arrived yesterday, so it features on my blog today! Love your desk with all the stamped and half coloured images. I am having my hair cut on Friday. Can't wait, the summer wind is back and my hair is in my face! Will get it pinked again too for the anniversary of Claires death next week. Can't believe it is nearly a year ago.
ReplyDeleteHi Ali - what a fantastic weekend, and I love the characters on your cards. You're obviously having a ball there! Enjoy, and happy WOYWW, Chris # 8

Happy WOYWW. I am not counting Xmas cards now, as I am so ashamed of the small number that are sitting in my 'completed Xmas card drawer'! I can see a charity card purchase being made next week. Those fabric trees are fab. Ali x #56

Noooooo! Don't tell me that! I don't know how many cards I have left to make, I really must count up, and I should have been at a Christmas Fayre today if I had been well last week, and if I had made more cards!
ReplyDeleteI love the bears and penguins, and your desk looks so pretty!

What a fab weekend Ali! We saw the Lion King in the summer - for me it was the solo voices and the cast walking through the audience..so thrilling! I haven't counted my cards..but I might..although I haven't yet managed two the same and it would make life so much easier!
ReplyDeleteOMGosh, I don't know what to look at first! You have so many goodies on your desk, oops, pardon the drool... sorry, sorry! giggle. I absolutely love those fabric Christmas trees on your desk... well who am I kidding, I love pretty much everything on your desk! Good luck with the cards... although it sounds like you have it all under control!
