Well my desk is a Sleuth of Bears this week !
(yes that is the collective noun for a group of bears ! I had to look it up !)
I have been working away at my Wellington Bear Christmas cards - decoupage & layering up - the more I use this set of papers, the cuter I am finding him !
We had a great day off from work on Friday and headed to Cribb's Causeway for Christmas shopping, then on to Cheltenham for our annual Jools Holland concert !
He & the band played a lot of new material and we had a brilliant evening !
Heading back home on Saturday most of the rest my weekend we a frenzy of present wrapping !
I am meeting my parents for a Christmas weekend treat next weekend and as I won't see my side of the family until after Christmas it has meant having all the presents bought & wrapped a month early !
So wrapping overtook crafting !
I set up a wrapping station in front of the telly whilst Much Beloved was out at football ...
But at least everything is wrapped & ready !
Hope you all have a fun crafty week !
Ali
oh my! you are so organised! I love your cards though, (got lots of mine done too at the weekend.)
ReplyDeleteA sleuth of bears, I love that. You look very busy, although I suppose needs must if you won't see your family again until after Xmas. I hope you have a lovely time with them.

luckily you explained a sleuth of bears, have not heard that before, never to old to learn. And praise yourself lucky you've done all your Christmas shopping before the big rush. Now you can sit back and do some crafting.Vicky(#8)
ReplyDeleteWell done Ali..I find early wrapping quite hard...it sort of throws out my romantic idea of the fun and love involved...!!!! I did not know about a sleuth of bears, it's odd. Never mind the more you use them the more you like him....it looks to me like the more you use him, the more papers you must have!
ReplyDeleteWow, you are good making all those lovely bear cards! I love your wrapping station..it's a good idea when you've got lots to do :-) Have fun with your parents!

Gee, you're really ahead of the game with the gifts wrapping, aren't you? I haven't even bought mine! Mind you, Christmas is quite a painless affair for us, having just a very small family. Super cute cards! We often do a spot of shopping at Cribbs, but we wouldn't recognise one another if we crossed paths! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #29
