Summer of Colour Challenge - Pink & Charcoal Grey

I really struggled with this week's colour combo !
It was all a bit of a flashback to 1980's fashion - guys in grey suits with pale pink shirts !

But a flit around some of the other participants blogs was inspirational & I tried to banish my prejudices !

Yesterday I went to the Art Stamps England show at Newbury Race Course.

Its a nice show - not too big & the organisers oblige the stall holders all to stock different stamp brands/ranges from one another - so each stand had something different to looksat & there are no duplications !

I was in stamp heaven ! And could resist everything except temptation !!

I bought a couple of the JOFY minis which compliment my larger stamp sets - and the fuchsia & funky grass on my pink & charcoal ATC are from these stamps.

  1. Oh simply beautiful! Haha, I can't resist stamps either. But I am always afraid to use them after, so they sadly sit there. The softness of this colouring is just so dreamy. <3

  2. A stamp show sounds dangerous!!! I can't see any sign of struggle here, so delicate and lovely. Gorgeous use of the SOC colours. :)

  3. Wow, you sound ever so restrained on the purchasing front! Nice card you made though too.

  4. Thank you for this little story about stamp heaven and the 80s. A lot to smile ad remember. Your new stamps are beautiful and your work too. I love the discreet design and using colors.

  5. Hi Ali
Sounds like you had a fab day. I love your colour challenge. Is it an ATC? Crafting outside at the weekend! Did project M. Will post pics tomorrow. X

  6. Very pretty, love your design! <3

  7. Beautiful piece! So soft and dreamy.
