WOYWW - Snow Day Scrapping

Well its an ill wind - or snow storm - that blows no-one any good !

So being snowed in last Saturday was a perfect excuse to huddle up in a snuggle fluffy top & spend the day scrapping my Christmas photos  !

Here's my back garden in the snow on Saturday !!

And here's my Christmas 2012 finally scrapped

I used up as much of my Christmas papers & embellishments as possible & then disbanded by Christmas Project box - it was time to make something other than in red & white !!

So it was great to take up the CSI Challenge for this week.
I loved the colour combination and would never have thought of putting the dark chocolate brown with the chartreuse green and the pale blue and cream !
And I was planning to scrap my teasel pictures - so this seemed a good opportunity to get that done !

And I also got to have a play with my new Gelli plate & create some printed pages - just messing about as yet - but can see the possibilities !!

Hope you have a great week ! Looking forward to seeing what you are all up to this week !

  1. Argh we wrote a huge comment about how we love your Christmas and CSI pages only for the whole lot to mysteriously disappear! The gist of it was that your pages are inspiring us to scrap again, rather than art journal. Which seems to be our passion right now.

We're debating whether we need a gelli plate or not, after reading about them in this month's craft Stamper, so we will watch your posts with interest.

  2. Look at all that snow.. Your Christmas pages are amazing, love the layouts.. Its fun to just play with new techniques.

  8. We had 7-8" which is still hanging around with more snow overnight.....pretty but not practical when it takes 3 to help push the car up the road to get off the estate :-(
Love the Xmas pages and your CSI challenge page - would not have thought to do the colour combo but it looks good. I have a gelli plate on it's way but not here yet.....

How great that you got to do lots of scrapbooking because of the snow
Looks like you have had a good week

  14. Wow. Wow! I haven't made a single Christmas LO in all the years I've been scrapping. I feel the need now, yours are so lovely, and gracious, of all the memories to be treasured!! These Gelli plates are cropping up a lot all of a sudden, really like your achievements, hope you've had fun!

  15. Wow, well done you in being so up to date with your scrapbooking. Those layouts are stunning and so inspiring. I have only just started scrapbooking Christmas 2011 - somewhat behind you! Have a great week. Thanks for sharing. Caro #59

  16. Love all the LO's and it so nice when you have them done in a record time. Love the gelli plates images you have created too! Annette #18

  17. Such extremely different weather from ours...yesterday hit the 30 Deg C here which is HOT! Cannot imagine snow as we don't get it at all...have to travel 3 hours from to see it in the mountains and even then it does not often come down low enough for one to walk in and experience! See you soon!

  18. You got a lot of layouts done so maybe it was worth it to get snowed in! teehee
The snowy pictures are so pretty...funny how snow is so nice to look at but not so nice to deal with!

  19. What a wonderful way to spend a snowy day, and so many pretty LOs!

    Happy WOYWW!
